During checkout, my experience at this location was incredibly disappointing. Unfortunately, we were assisted by an older woman who, from the start, didn’t seem to be in good spirits. Earlier, while shopping for our pet, my 5-year-old was helping me carry a cat wand toy. The older woman abruptly stopped us in the aisle and asked my child, in a sharp tone, where she had gotten the toy. She then warned her not to fall on it because “it could stab her.” While the comment startled my child, I brushed it off as odd but minor. Things got worse at checkout. We were assisted by the same woman we ran into earlier. I asked for assistance with an item priced differently in-store than online. The cashier called for a manager, and then complained about the manager, claiming that the manager didn’t want to come out. Despite her complaints, the manager arrived promptly and kindly resolved the price-match issue. Meanwhile, my child stood quietly by the register, looking at pet toys. Out of nowhere, the cashier pointed at her and said, “You know, we try to sell those things, and look at her over there touching them. Bet she’s going to throw it too. So disrespectful. Disgusting.” I was stunned because my child had been standing calmly the entire time. When I called her over to me, the cashier looked shocked and realized she was my child. She backtracked, saying, “Oh, she’s yours? Foot in mouth, I guess.” This behavior was absolutely unacceptable. At no point did my child or I do anything to warrant such rude and judgmental comments. I left the store feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I will now drive the extra 10 minutes to a different location to avoid coming back here.

Almost everything I could ask for except a good harness for my 7 cats. The last one I purchased is easy to run free from. I have both large and small cats. Very nice help within yor fish dept. I did get one small bully but he should get better, if not, I’ll quarantine this fish. Not really !

The betta fish were on the verge of dying. When I informed the staff about the condition of the fish, they didn't seem to care much. Instead of taking care of the fish, two different staff members tried to appease me. When I mentioned to one of them that I had recorded videos of the fish, they panicked and showed me a daily checklist, saying, "See, we change their water and take care of them every morning." But does having a checklist on paper really mean those tasks were actually done? If the water was supposedly changed that morning, then why were the betta fish, which can survive a week without aeration, in such a state in the video? As I continued chatting and gathering information about the fish, I touched the container of a betta fish that was either dead or nearly dead. Upon seeing this, the angry staff member quickly grabbed the container and slammed it onto the table, even though there was a fish inside! The staff might have been upset with me or with the fact that I was recording, but I didn't see any signs saying "no recording allowed." Even if such a sign existed, I will continue to record videos of places that do not care for living beings! The situation may be different from what I observed, but people believe what they see... Many adorable pets to choose from! I love coming here for my turtles wants and needs and the staff is always so kind and friendly everytime I visit. I always love taking my kid and looking at all the animals they have.
