One of the worst dental experiences I have ever encountered (Merrillville office).The staff were nice however Dr. Bade or Bode was rude as hell. She kept snatching my mouth open and tried to tell me that I needed 5 extractions and I was there for two. Then she walked out and said "figure out what you're going to do". Told her assistant to write up a treatment plan without any explanations. Argued with me about which teeth were loose in which she was WRONG. I read other positive reviews so I figured I would give UrgentDent a try but not with Dr. Bade or Bode. I left without getting the extractions. I will find another dentist, preferably one with patience and who knows how to treat their patients with gentle care and respect.

I went to urgent dent just to get a check up, they took X-rays and said I have a cavity. So far so good, but then said I have plac and my wisdom teeth had to be removed cause they don't clean them. Without thinking I agreed, the dentist numb me up that didn't work. She then took a pick and pry and pry in my mouth just for her to say I can't get. Now I'm currently in a LOT OF PAIN. the specialist she sent me to said they can't see me for 2weeks. This happened on 9-27-25 now it's 10-3-25 I haven't been able to chew any food only mashed potatoes and broth, I'm working on finding another dentist to extract the teeth that was NEVER bothering me...

Went in on the weekend because my regular dentist was closed for a dry socket. The wait was over 2 hours which wasn’t the big deal to me. They told me they accepted my insurance and did not warn me about any out of pocket costs. They just went and did the procedure. Not only that the dentist went in to clean out my dry socket without any numbing or even an explanation of what was going to happen causing me extreme pain. Pain that was worse than giving birth or anything I’ve ever experienced. The pain subsided for a few hours but started hurting again 4 hours later. I would not recommend this place to anybody. Better to just wait for your regular dentist.

Renee and Dr Nick at the Merrillville location were absolutely perfect! They were very informative and patient and their bedside manners were impeccable. Both explained my treatment plan thoroughly and what to expect moving forward. If they haven’t found out already, they are definitely stuck with me as a patient! 12/10 recommend
