I went to the Full Moon Gazing: Recalibrating the Heart retreat in April and it was nothing short of amazing. The house and the grounds at Vedanta are so beautiful and peaceful, it was the perfect space to take time away from my busy life and focus on me and my healing. I didn’t even know how much I needed it. We spent much introspective time out in the mountains, enjoying the gorgeous nature all around us, meditating and grounding and practicing gratitude, and it really helped me process the trauma which brought me to Vedanta in the first place. Trips to a nearby river and to Sequoia National Forest to see the majestic trees were also highlights. We also hiked to the mountaintop to watch the full moon rise and the sunrise, which was incredibly moving and peaceful. Our teacher Kristin was the perfect leader and guide, and she brought our group of nine together for this life changing experience we will never forget. We all became a close group and learned from one another. Thank you to Kristin and Deepak for sharing your wisdom and your positive energy and truly enriching our retreat. The food was delicious, the activites and yoga sessions were inspiring, and it was overall a 10/10 experience I will never forget. I hope to return to Vedanta in the future.

The retreat is hosted in such a beautiful and peaceful place! I felt so good. Deepak is a wonderful person and a great teacher. He helped me clear a lot of questions I had , which led me to feel so peaceful. The meditations were great. The knowledge sessions were excellent. We hiked and watched the moon rise. It was a magical and healing experience. Loved my time there . Will definitely return.
