The optician was excellent. However after the test more interested in trying to sell me a new pair of glasses. I understand franchise has changed hands and clearly profit is now the more important factor and not my personal needs. Lovely, friendly store. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The optician explained everything they were going to do and did a really thorough check up. They compared my eyes today with how they’d been 4 years, and 2 years ago, which was really reassuring. I’ve been using this branch for years as I feel they are looking after my eyes really well.
Disappointed about the significant delay in being seen, nearly 1/2 hour after appointment time. No obvious reason. No queue. Otherwise very friendly, approachable and helpful team. From the reception, testing and choosing of replacement glasses.
