2 rinks are well maintained and dressing rooms are good quality. Temperature is good. Rinks aren’t too cold. Showers in the dressing rooms have good pressure and the rooms are adequate size and clean. The three pools are great. Library is awesome. I play Hockey here once a week and just love the facilities. One of the better places to play.

This vibrant and well-used community center serves Barrhaven residents and neighboring areas. It features two rinks, swimming pools, an indoor gym, and more, all conveniently located next to the library. The second floor offers a spacious resting area with great views of the rinks and pools. With its friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, it’s a great place to spend and enjoy some time.

Not imoressed. Unfriendly host at front desk ..she was our first impression. Had us, seniors, park out back. Where we had to climb wooden steps to enter. No markings success after climbing and opening the door off another set of steps. We could have walked to our room on the main level. Behind the front desk and left our car where it was. We dont speak french. Maybe she didnt quite understand us. I think sge didnt really care, about us.. Missing luggage racks. Very small fridge. Soap dispensers too difficult to use for shower, shampoo. No bar soap. For someone with hand strength issues. Impossible to get soap. Parking in back , pitch black , poor security. I moved our car to the front where we originally parked, well lit. Good breakfast, well stocked colonial.. Morning front desk staff was very friendly..possibly owners.

I have only used the pools at the sports center. The change room has ample locker space and the showers offer lots of hot water. The facility is pretty clean considering the challenges related to wet floors and dirty footwear. Today there were a lot of people using the pools. There was hair and a bandaid circulating in the shallow pool. The water didn't burn my eyes but hopefully there is enough chlorine to deal with bacteria. Someone kept blowing a whistle but I could not tell what for. Despite the larger number of users there is still a comfortable amount of space for bleachers and benches where parents and non-swimmers can sit and relax. Lots of parking and vending machines are near the front door.
