Location: The location for the hotel is nice and close to the freeway, several restaurants and stores. Room: However, the room we were in was terrible. We walked it and it smelled disgusting We soon realized it was the AC unit and turned it off. You can hear all the noise outside and from the rooms next door. The bathroom is not clean and things are breaking. Parking: I was surprised to learn of the fee to park (it is minimal) but would have been nice to have it listed up front. Customer service issues:, We were told breakfast would open st 6 on Friday but then went down at 6 and they said it would be 7 am because of the holiday. When I asked the front desk for towels the lady responded "you should have plenty in your room". I explained that we had 2 but we were 4 people and the kids were in the pool. You'd be better off looking for a different hotel than wasting money here.

My stay at this particular hotel was due to a last minute work trip. Although it was a very short overnight stay, I felt that the room certainly fit the bill and was a great deal overall. The rooms are well appointed and use bright, tasteful colors to accentuate the modernized decor. It is an older property and is therefore more run-of-the-mill compared to more recently built Hilton properties, but nevertheless, it gives Hampton Inn a good name and is a solid place to stay for a quick night or if you need a basic hotel. One thing I did notice is that they say that parking is free but they subsequently charge $7. It’s not a big deal, but something to take into account. The location is very secure, and it is located right across the street from Olive Garden along with several other restaurants. Although it is not the most exciting or luxurious property in the area, it is very cozy and perfect for anybody who needs someplace secure and comfortable to stay for a quick night or so.

When we first arrived we immediately had issues at the front desk with a rude staff. Then one of the elevators was broken causing delays. The urinal in the lobby men’s room was out of order. The pull out bed in our room did not lay flat and didn’t have any pillows in the linen bag for it. The king bedspread was very tattered with loose threads hanging out all over it. The SECOND elevator then broke down so everyone had to use the stairs. The A/C didn’t work in our room and after I asked for maintenance to visit, I found that the batteries were missing from the thermostat. I decided to walk back downstairs and ask for batteries and do it myself to avoid further knocks on the door. They gave me two random used batteries but thank god they worked. Not enough towels in the room (2). Overall the hotel was falling apart, floors disgusting and bathroom not clean. Very disappointing.

We arrived on a Friday afternoon after a long and hard drive. There was only 1 person at the check in to handle a very long line of guests and that's just wrong, for the guests and for the person doing the check ins. We requested in advance a king bed room on the 1st floor and we were given a room on the 3rd floor with no black out shade. When I presented our problem we were offered a 2 queen bed room and after an unnecessary battle we were given an upgrade to a suite, and through all of this we never saw the hotel manager. Having to pay $7 per day parking was a rude shock. The breakfast is decent and it changes a bit daily. The hotel and the grounds are maintained beautifully, but the pool is NOT heated. The staff is friendly. If you have a specific need for a type of room or its location, I urge you to call ahead to confirm your requests.
