Love this store. It's the only place I found here, that carries blades for clippers. Also there is variety of shampoos and sprays for dogs I find very useful. This spray is my fave to avoid matts and I got it here for around $10.

I’ve been shopping at this location for years and have always had good experiences, but my recent interactions with an employee (initials TF) have been disappointing. She is newer within the last several months and unfortunately lacks customer service skills. She comes across as unwelcoming, somewhat ignorant, and not very personable. Her manner can feel slightly rude, and she doesn’t seem confident in her role. This is a noticeable change compared to the helpful and friendly service I’ve come to expect here. I hope management can provide her with training to improve in these areas.

Lots of products to choose from, with friendly and knowledgeable staff to help. I don't have much experience with pets or pet stores, as we are just getting our first cat, but the one staff member we met was patient and helpful as we had lots of questions on food, cat litter, toys, everything. There's a lot of information and opinions on the web and sometimes it's hard to make sense of it all, so I found it helpful to actually speak to someone. She answered all of our questions and provided balanced perspectives, while making a few suggestions to us based on our discussions. This gave us a good place to start on our journey of pet ownership.

I’ve been shopping with Rens for years and have never had a worse experience at this location or at any Rens. I walked in, wasn’t greeted, not one person asked if I wanted assistance (which I absolutely would’ve loved some assistance as I’m assuming the brand of treats I used to purchased are no longer available). Instead of offering assistance both workers stood on their phones (it may have been both of them looking at one phone) which absolutely shocked me. The cashier (an older blond women) ushered me to the register before I was ready to cash out. I felt forced to cash out before I was ready. She made no attempt to talk to me, gave me no confirmation that she had found my account. The only things she said to me were asking for my number, asking if I wanted to donate and telling me my total. Again, this is hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a Ren’s store. I would’ve been more inclined to donate if they actually made me feel welcome in a store I used to love going to. Definitely won’t be back to this location if staff are more inclined to check their phones rather than interact with customers.
