The staff are always lovely, the shelves are always stocked and organised so it makes it so much easier to find exactly what you are looking for. They have a wide range of wool, fabrics, crochet/knitting/sewing essentials and even buttons/safety eyes! Although i live about an hour or so away, i travel to woolston just to go into this lovely shop!

Best yarn selection in my area by far - I can always get what I need in Williamsons where I might struggle in other stores. I don't like yarn shopping online, so shops like this are really valuable to me. Worth the travel.

Excellent shop. Wait outside to be invited in by staff. Available shelter from the rain under bus stop next to shop. Free parking at Woodley Road near by, five minutes walk to shop. They carry out seamstress and alterations service or provide a quotation. The walk ways would be tight for a wheel chair access, but is possible. Nearest toilets are in a German supermarket few minutes walk from this shop. This little gem of haberdashery is recommend a visit.

Beware!! I Took two pairs of Armani jeans in to this shop to have the legs taken up. After asking if they could do this. What a total disaster. It looks like they let a child loose on the sewing machine. Absolute nightmare service. Would not recommend.
