Over the years I have been a patron to this pharmacy. My parents religiously get their medications from this establishment. It seemed easy peasy as my family doctor is also in the building. The other day I called in to fill a script over the phone. I was put on hold. Patiently waiting to hear if they could fill my prescription, I was immediately screamed at by the pharmacist himself. I was told that I had to go to Hamilton to get my medication. There are 2 phone lines at this establishment, I told him that I wasn’t the other person on the line and that I needed my regular prescription. He laughed it off, and someone else grabbed the line immediately. This person went over my prescription and told me that I was getting the GENERIC VERSION OF THE MEDICATION. My doctor specifically told me that the generic medication would not work for me. It has something to do with the way my body metabolizes things. I went over this with the pharmacist in the past and he seemed to understand. I have been on this medication for the last 10 years. If I have been getting generic all this time and not getting properly medicated, is there not something wrong with this situation?

Great pharmacy that specializes in compounding medications. Very reliable and will not steer you wrong. They compound medications that have a shortage in the market so you can get the medicine you need. Great service.

The lady that answered the phone was extremely pleasant and helpful, however going in a dealing with the curly haired brunette was a whole other story. Don't try and speak to her unless you want to get extreme attitude for no reason at all. If you're that unhappy with your job you should probably rethink your career and go work somewhere else. She then informed me it would be several hours for my child's prescription. I went out to the parking lot and found another pharmacy who had the medication in stock, went back in and got my prescription back and took it to Colborne st pharmacy where they were nothing but kind and pleasant to deal with and had my child's medication in 10 minutes. I highly recommend you do not go here unless you want someone to ruin you good mood and day. ****Oddly enough I can not respond to your comment about my review.....so I guess I will just add it here. Thank you for your over the top explanation about how you make them medicine from scratch. I never once mentioned anything about the medication itself. My review was about your awful employee who is rude to your customers for no reason what so ever. When I spoke with the polite employee on the phone she told me it wouldn't be more than a hour or two Which was totally fine. The wait time for the medication changed after I got tired of your rude employee and her attitude and suddenly it wouldn't be available until the end of the day. #2 When it comes to medication I personally don't have a care in the world if you "compounded" it or it was "manufactured ". At the end of the day it's still doing the exact same job. Also I wouldn't say you were saving my child's life, it's strep throat. Further more, your response to my Google review just solidified my opinion of your company and how horrible your customer service is especially your last comment with your very poor apology. When you're outright rude to your customers the minute they walk in the door and have never been there before, ya......that's not exactly a place I want to do business with. Thanks!!

This pharmacy went above and beyond to help me with a last minute large prescription on a deadline I had personally due to travel. They are also incredibly friendly, courteous and professional. I had an excellent experience overall. It’s nice to see this level of customer care and a truly caring attitude. I can’t thank the pharmacist and team enough.
