Came in, first thing I noticed was the shower floor. Looks like mold growing in here, so we skipped the shower. The bed is very hard, the AC was the only thing I liked about it. Told them we had my service dog with us (@ 1:30PM) then around 8:30PM they asked me for his information and came running at us down the hall. By law unless the dog is a threat or a safety concern, you’re not supposed to ask about my disability. The “room service” that was ordered at 8:30pm didn’t arrive until 11:45 and they NEVER brought it to the door- they took it to the front desk. So much for “room service” we will NOT be back at this location. I’ll definitely pay another $150 for a better hotel. Overton has never had these problems nor with us.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a truly disappointing experience. The first room we were given had not been cleaned properly at all. There was a hairball on the floor, huge stains on the bedding, dead bugs on the bathroom floor, and something had broken off the wall. After a long wait, we were moved to another room, which was somehow even worse. There was food on the floor, even though it smelled like they'd just vacuumed, bugs in the bed as well as blood stains and hair, and a child’s footprint on the light post. What made it even worse was the staff’s lack of remorse. They didn’t seem overly concerned with the state of the rooms. The only part of the stay that went smoothly was the check-in and check-out process, which was uneventful. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. The cleanliness and staff's attitude were a huge letdown.

We had a great stay here. Just passing through. They have a inside pool and the gym was nice. Yes the walls are thin you can here little ones running but it was great over all. Very clean, everyone here was kind . The bed are very comfortable .Great breakfast, they had eggs, sausage,biscuits, and you can make your waffle . And you can walk to a couple of places to eat. Great location also. Right off the road. The price is good that's a plus too.

I’ll start with the positives. My rooms was modern and seemed above the average level of pleasantry. Hallways smell nice. That’s it for the positives. Now the negatives… First issue noticed on my first night, I arrived for a 2 night stay on a Friday night after a LOOONG trip… and the shower was not well cleaned. The blue cleaning solution was dried-up and marked on the corners, walls, and floors. The shower head, calcium encrusted. Rust, dirt and mold rest on the glass shower door railings. Second issue, the ice machine was out of order (it was right outside my room… the inconveniences are now piling because A dude “worked” on it for an hour making noise outside the room … it’s still broken) Third issue, the refrigerator in my room was so noisy at night, it seriously woke me up. Fourth… housekeeping came at some point and DID ALMOST NOTHING! I was being courteous and turned over my bed with the covers for them, making it seemingly more tidy after sleeping on it… and leaving a note on the bed asking kindly about the other stuff. The note DID NOT MOVE from the spot I left it on the bed and neither did the pen… housekeeping just tucked in the corners of the bed and left! Making it seem like they made it! They DID NOT EVEN CHANGE THE SHEETS!!!!!!! Makes me wonder how many people have slept on the sheets I was forced to sleep on for my two nights!!!! Fifth and final issue… and the most unbelievable, I went to the front desk after returning from my morning out, and after finding my neglected room almost exactly how I left it (They didn’t even take out the garbage in the room, or exchange the EMPTY body-wash bottle). Basically, after my first night, I realized that my room was not prepared whatsoever before my arrival. Overall, there aren't many options in Lubbock to stay at… so just know what you are potentially getting into when choosing THIS inn. So disappointing and upsetting on my final night. I’ll try the breakfast tomorrow before leaving… hopefully I don’t have to add a sixth issue to the list regarding that.
