Customer experiences
Very welcoming staff. The locker room, and lounge were clean and comfortable. Water, tea, and snacks provided. My service was the Signature Holistic Body Detox. It started with a dry brush all over, then a mineral scrub, followed by a mud mask and getting wrapped in a mylar sheet. Teresa made the experience relaxing, and rejuvenating taking care to adjust pressure, or room and water temperature. Yes (water), the finishing touch of the Vichy Shower really took this treatment over the top. Loved it all! I will definitely go back for this body treatment again.
Went to this spa for the first time and my experience was wonderful. When you walk in I will say that the shop setup makes it a little cluttered but otherwise the lockers where you get dressed are really nice. They're equipped with secure lockers for your things you get a nice robe and flip-flops. There is also access to a bathroom a really nice sink and showers. Once you're dressed in your robe you get to go to like a tranquility room where they have water and small treats and little games and magazines and it's very nice. My masseuse was Darlene and she was very nice. I got the sweetest massage and she did such a great job. I was totally relaxed. She made sure I was very comfortable throughout the entire massage. I left there feeling very relaxed and happy with the whole experience. Will be back.
Husband got me a gift card for deep tissue massage and hydrating facial. Yes the place is pretty, clean and people are pleasant. But… Didn’t enjoy the cramped locker room experience. Ditch the shower area for some more privacy please. Olivia the massage therapist was professionally and I’m sure fine for most. This was not a deep tissue massage but a lovely petting of my muscles. Lots of pushing my body down on the table. That’s not massaging. Much encouraging and bragging to rest in Relaxation Room. It’s a some padded chairs in a bright room like a waiting area with magazines. It’s well decorated (with many ads on things to buy). It’s not quiet. Guess people lounge around in a robe here? Doing what exactly, I’m not sure? A few packaged snacks and water. I declined tea. Waited 15 minutes for facial technician. Have had lots of massage and facials before. Nothing special here. Only steamed half my face. Petted my arms only, no scalp massage. Lots of rubbing of something on face and then a good 5-10 minutes of water running while I laid there. Have always had a facial mask with facials. None this time at this place. Was offered sunscreen, as apparently blue light from your computer is another worry for the skin. Ugh! $365, pre-tip for these two treatments. Not near a beach or resort. Nearest major city an hour away. I don’t get it.
Book your next spa day here! I took my sister-in-law for a surprise spa day, and we had the best experience. We both got massages and facials — I had the brightening facial, and she had the hydro facial — and we looked phenomenal afterward! The spa itself is gorgeous, calming, and spotless, and the staff couldn’t have been lovelier. I usually go to the Montclair, NJ location, and this was my first time at the Gaithersburg spa — it did not disappoint at all. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and treat themselves! Ps. So nice to go shopping around the plaza afterwards too!!
