Yellow Cab

Their taxi drivers loves to park illegally on our private parking. I had to park on the street because these yellow cabs keep on parking on my spot. I tried to complain on their website but no reply. These are 3 different days and it’s getting absolutely frustrating!

In my view cab company not safe read reason why i feel this. Both Edmonton and yellow cabs same. Volunerable populations and elderly do not use yellow cab, edmonton cab i personally feel they do not have good protocols for customer safety. If this company responds to this review please list the details of your protocols in place in your office or business manual taught to employees that they must follow to prove they do provide safety training. Used yellow cab taxi app to bring cab this weekend have used this company and it is also yellow cabs before over a few years no issues. Had a very scary experience. I selected pay in cab on yellow cab app because we dont give our financial info on apps. This is my personal view, opinion and impression of what happened. Driver came and I got in told them where I wanted to go across edmonton about a half hour away. He drove to corner of my road then stopped. He said after do you have cash. I said no. I had debit card. He said something about computer issues. I had a debit card. He said I will drive to your bank you will get cash out. I said no. He seemed angry and annoyed and wanted to drive me to bank and I would get cash out. I said no. He looked upset and said we will figure something out. I felt bullied to go off my designated route to get cash from my bank. I asked to go back to my house He didn't want to I was getting concerned and he wouldn't do this. I said I wanted to end ride he was no. I opened car door and walked home. And he backed up was infront of my house for a bit and then left. I called cab company and gave number of cab and was told that the debit machine in his car was fine. Even though he had implied it wasnt working. I concerned this would happened to an elderly person who felt intimidated. Why he insisted on cash and taking be off route that was logged on app. I asked to speak to supervisor or manager was told none in on the weekend but there would be a video and it would be reviewed buy manager on this Monday. Phoned this Monday afternoon and incident had not been reviewed. I talked with supervisor told same concern. I asked if they had talked to driver or looked at video and listened to it. No he said and they had not reviewed viewed as I was promised three days previous. This information was given to the cab company including cab number nothing done so far info given to staff and supervisors. Although company has requested an email I will remove this only when the company has resolved this and actually checked taxi cabs video for security. They have my name and contact details already given as stated above. If this review is still up none looked into this.

Can #282 is a dangerous and reckless driver. Doesn’t pay attention and he will kill someone with his horrible driving. I took a picture of his cab and he started threatening me. With drivers like this are you surprised that people are Uber over a taxi? Your poor hiring choices are what is killing your industry.
