This review is mine and mine alone. Dec 29/2025 the weather was horrible. One of the worst snow storms of the year. White outs, roads closed and our belly’s were empty. Trying to find somewhere to eat but everything seemed to be close but this small restaurant on the main strip or Midland. Zanca Mexican restaurant. It was like the light beacon guiding us to safety! Warm, inviting, happy atmosphere and smiles to go around. Take a seat and we will be right with you. My wife and I sat down in a large booth, music was playing and the smells were delightfully delicious. Then menu displayed many different items that were for sure going to fill our every desire. We both had “ Birria tacos” Let me tell you something, fresh, homemade, perfection in every bite! My wife and I love food but this was on another level! The homemade sauces were mild to spicy, rich and creamy! I could have squeezed the bottles right in my mouth. Everything was delicious, made with pride. We had explained that the weather was really bad and we were just looking for something tasty. That we never expected to find a hidden gem. If you looking for reasonable, high quality, home cooked food without breaking the bank this is the place. Without a doubt my wife and I will be back. This will become a staple in our little night adventures. Especially when you’re looking to leave happy, full and not feeling like you just got ripped off. I am giving Zanca 9/10 only because I wish I had more room to fit more food in my belly. Thank you Zanca for stepping up reasonable quality food for a snowy winters night.

Ask for the homemade hot sauce, it’s got a kick but with excellent flavour. The tortilla soup was delicious and home made. Just a good Mexican restaurant in midland.

Went here for lunch. Decor is fun, colorful. All the regular stuff you’d hope to find on the menu. I chose the fajitas. They were yummy. The portion size was ample. Service was OK. Our server never came back to check on us after we got our meals. Maybe he was too busy… Would definitely go back, could have just been an off day.

Food and service was very good... Had the birria tacos with rice and refried beans on the side. Their hot sauce is super hot and tasty (the habanero one). The consume could have been better but not bad at all
