Academy of Learning Career College - Calgary Central

I’m proud to share that I’ve successfully completed my diploma certificate course at Academy of Learning Career College. It has been an incredible learning experience from start to finish. The program was well-structured, hands-on, and tailored to real-world job demands. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and always ready to support students. I especially appreciated the flexibility of the learning format, which allowed me to balance my studies with other responsibilities. I’m grateful for the professional skills I’ve gained and the confidence I now feel as I move forward in my career. I had a great experience completing my program through AOLCC! As an online student, I appreciated the flexibility and structure the course offered, which made it easier to balance my studies with daily life. Although I didn’t meet all of my instructors in person, the support I received throughout was consistent and encouraging. I want to give a special thanks to Lesley, my student advisor, who went above and beyond from the very beginning. She helped guide me through choosing the right program and was always quick to respond anytime I had questions or needed support. Her kindness and efficiency made such a difference in my journey. I’m also grateful to all the other staff and instructors who were part of my learning experience. I truly felt supported every step of the way. I highly recommend this college to anyone looking for a quality, flexible education with a team that truly cares about your success!

Medical and billing course: There was nothing clear or straightforward about moving through this course. Lots of misinformation right from the start. When I first started asking about the course I was told I would need a Windows computer to do the course, which I bought. Didn't use it at all. So that was a complete waste of money. Most of the information in the course, textbook included was US based information and very outdated. Had to request access to the textbook and SIM chart software for the course and that took well over a week to receive and should have been provided at the start. Help desk mostly isn't available on weekends which if you're already working somewhere is when you have time for this course. Lots of medical terminology but no really useful information on getting set up or practical information if you want to do billing and coding in Alberta.
