Avoid this school at all costs — negligent, misleading, and will leave you with debt and no support. I strongly do not recommend the Academy of Learning. My experience has been nothing but stressful and negligent. From the very beginning, it was made clear that I could only complete the required in-person course during the summer. Despite this, the school failed to follow through and then threatened me with financial liability and failure if I did not risk my job to attend the course outside of the agreed time. This was my very last course — and they had known from day one that it needed to be scheduled in the summer before my kids went back to school — yet they never followed up. Throughout the process, I was repeatedly told that a manager would contact me “today” or “soon,” but no one ever did. The lack of communication and accountability has been unacceptable. This school not only jeopardized my graduation but also left me facing financial stress with student aid. To make matters worse, my sister had a very similar experience — poor communication forced her to withdraw, leaving her stuck owing both the school and student aid thousands of dollars for courses she was never able to complete. In short: 100% do not recommend. This school will leave you financially and academically worse off due to their negligence and lack of follow-through.

I did Dental Administration. The course itself is actually really easy to digest and follow, but the staff themselves seem to not know what they’re doing half the time. Very unorganized, they don’t know their own material, and careless when it comes to students private information. They don’t help you get a job either, just someone to look over a resume that they helped create. No one’s taken my education here seriously either when applying for jobs. Mind you, I now have to pay almost 10 grand for taking this course and I’m struggling to find work. Do not apply here. Do not waste your time or money at this “school.” Very unprofessional.

Dont waste your money here. This is the second course I took at this academy. The first time I took at the Calgary campus. Everything was good from the beginning to finish. The staff there were helpful and responsive. This time what a disappointment. I tried to contact student service twice. The first time it took them almost 3 weeks - after 2 messages and 2 calls - to respond to me. I had to contact the school again for course extension. Sent 3 messaged to help desk. Got responses from them saying that the student service should contact me soon. It has been now again almost 2 weeks and have not heard anything back. If I will have to take another course, I will not do it at this location ever again. The student service is there to help student but how can you get help when you couldn't get a hold of them. Very frustrating
