Al Hamra Village

Do not book this hotel. We arrived and my elderly parents were give a first floor room, no lift. We asked for another room and were told we would be charged extra. So I helped with the cases. |The rooms were old and had a dusty smell to the bed sheets and rooms. The pool was dirty and did not look inviting. The all inclusive package was disgusting. We had a choice of one lager which was Amstel. The pub on site is not part of the all inclusive you have to pay in the Frisky Fox. |The Diet Coke is out of a bottle and the majority of the time is flat. The food was in a canteen style place and the food was on repeat and not that good. I had to ask for plates or cutely and the coffee machine was always broken. |The shower I had was me sitting in a bath. In 4 days I had one warm shower. |I then complained. They moved to our rooms. My parents got a bigger room on ground floor but shower still terrible going hot and cold. I got another room and when I had a shower it was too hot then when I adjusted the temp it went too cold. Terrible. We were also told we could use the Al Hamra residence for food which is based over the road. Food exactly the same but the place was more like a restaurant rather than a canteen. I had breakfast once and dinner once in there. |It was not worth the money and we paid to go the Waldorf Astoria twice and the Sofitel once as we hated the place where we were staying. Please do not book. It was disgusting and we hated every minute from start to finish

The hotel is best in class as I am staying here for 4 months. They give best rates for monthly stay and the food is so good. The environment is clean and neat you have an open swimming pool beach access as well which is very good. The employees were very friendly especially savej security staff and housekeeping staffs Akash and isham was so friendly and their service was so good . In future I will always prefer this hotel for any further trips

Overall, a great experience! I’ve been visiting this hotel for two years and always return because of the wonderful staff and the great atmosphere. The team is always kind and helpful. However, during this stay, my room had a very strong cigarette smell when I checked in, which was quite unpleasant. The bathroom had old towels, no drinking water, and the room didn’t seem fully prepared. I called housekeeping, and they quickly addressed the issues and provided everything I needed. Despite these issues, the staff’s excellent service and the overall experience still made for a good stay. I’ll definitely keep coming back. Thanks again for the great experience! 🙏
