Algarve's Grill

An evening out for Valentines Day and we were not disappointed. Saw it had good reviews and after speaking to a number of people who said it was very good, we were so looking forward to forward to our evening there. After a lovely friendly welcome when we walked in, we were sat down and served immediately. Our starters were the 3 tapas. Calamari, prawns and mushrooms on toast. All absolutely delicious. My husband’s main was the fish skewer and I had the lobster. (I have had lobster many times and I am usually quite disappointed) it was cooked beautifully and so very tasty. Couldn’t eat another thing. What a fantastic night out. Definitely worth travelling 200 miles for.

If they can manage great food and service on a Saturday Valentine's night, then they can surely manage it at any time! Came in with my girlfriend for a Valentine's dinner. We were particularly warmly welcomed and given a lovely table. Tables were not hemmed in. Service across all staff members was impeccable. Food was delicious. We had ribs and prawns to start - the prawns were huge and fantastic in butter. I had a double steak, which was hearty and well cooked. My companion had Cataplana de Carne - a delicious meaty stew. We finished off with a lovely crème brûlée and a crispy little pastel de nata. Food and drink was very well priced. The bill was £107 with service - you cannot complain for 3 courses and a bottle of prosecco. They even gave a red rose to the lady.

Amazing reception everything was brilliant 👏. Food was lovely feeling like home. I strongly recommend it. My self and family loved 😍. Definitely a place to go back. See you soon Algarve's grill. And very much appreciated to the chefs and from off the house staff 🙌 tank you.
