I visited this clinic to try to get to the root causes of some health issues. I was asked (what I thought would be helpful) invasive questions and told my liver was "intoxicated" without any testing or valid reason. I wanted some blood tests done but they convinced me they would be inaccurate due to my "damaged" liver. This was later disproven by other doctors. Despite being sober for months I was advised to undergo a costly liver detox and sold expensive tinctures that caused negative side effects with no benefits. They also advised me to go cold turkey off necessary medication to help my liver, with no medical supervision. For my insomnia I was sold natural sleeping pills at double the cost of other pharmacies. Instead of proper testing and care, I received costly/ineffective products and condescending advice. The communication between the front desk, doctors and students were inconsistent and confusing. I was told one thing over the phone (like that I'd be getting a PAP test at the next appointment), then given a completely different procedure in person, like an unnecessary/costly lymph drainage massage that I was convinced was a necessary step. After spending several hundred dollars, I gave up on trying to get blood tests done there and instead got tests from doctors elsewhere, who discovered multiple imbalances and deficiencies (my liver was fine). Would absolutely not recommend this clinic
I had been going to Boucher for years and had great advancements with my health with Dr. Wong. I felt well taken care of. This year I was under the care of a new practitioner that ordered me the wrong test that was $300. In session, the practitioner admitted she forgot I was on a medication that would render this particular test useless. The results of the test were null due to the influence of this medication. They would not refund me for this mistake they made. Not returning and very disappointed.
Boucher is one of the best places I've experienced for health care. They deeply care about their patients and went above and beyond to organize an appointment for me when there was a mix up in our schedules. Couldn't be happier with the amazing service I continue to get. The Student Interns are knowledgeable and the NDs are extremely informative and caring. It is clear they are all passionate about what they do!
