Amsterdam Inn & Suites, Ascend Hotel Collection

We normally stop in Quebec on our way East but decided to push ahead 4 more hours- we are so happy we found your hotel! It was extremely comfortable and very clean. We were met by a very friendly staff. The king bed was perfect and the pull out was reported to be quite comfortable too. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant was very clean- the staff was professional and courteous. We travelled with our dog and she was treated very well- everyone was so kind. Just a note- for breakfast you were allowed either coffee or juice, but there is coffee in the lobby always available. So, get the juice 😊

My family and I were on our way home from a trip and planned to drive through the night but the rain had other plans so we booked a room here last minute. The location is great, right off the highway and the rooms were amazing! It’s the clean and the most well maintained hotel we have stayed at. The free breakfast was excellent, the staff even gave us to go containers because we needed to leave early.

Have stayed several times as Florenceville location is convenient. Have always found reception lacking in warmth/welcome - this was improved. Dinner was well prepared but dining room was clearly understaffed. Breakfast buffet was COLD - intended and advertised to be a hot buffet, but in fact cold. Seems to me the hotel is becoming less comfortable as time passes.
