⭐ If negative stars were possible, this hospital would earn them. Came in by ambulance, had emergency surgery within 5 hours—impressive. But everything after was a nightmare. A bed bug was found in my recovery bed, and from then on I was treated like I had the plague. Staff had to gown up to enter, but most barely cared to help once they were in. I often waited 45+ minutes for help to the bathroom after major abdominal surgery. ā€œHelpā€ usually meant being handed toilet paper while they stood there watching. The lack of dignity and compassion was shocking. Out of dozens of nurses and techs, only a couple showed real kindness. The surgeon was excellent, and one nun went above and beyond. But overall, this was the worst hospital experience of my life. Patients deserve far better.

The services and help were excellent. The prep room for surgery was very small and I can’t see how the employees could work in that environment very easily. There was only about a couple feet around the whole bed and I know people from the Bed on the other side of the curtain beside me Their help keep bumping into my help. But employees and services other than that, we’re great

My brother was in this horrible hospital recently. He heard his nurses in the ER talking about him several times. Loudly enough for everyone to hear. Talking about why he was there and what medication he was on and that he was being "ridiculous". Really? This is how you speak about your patients? It's disgusting! How dare you!! 😠 He had big injuries that were extremely painful, but because of another medication he is on they refused to medicate him and ignored him when he asked for some relief. This shouldn't be legal! Once he got to his floor everything was okay. The only complaint I have about that was lack of pain relief. But the ER I can't believe you have nurses and doctors on your staff that purposely break HIPAA! They were loud enough to be heard thru the video call we were on and I am disgusted. You need to do something about this. I can imagine how many people have had this done to them. What you need to do is pull the camera from that date and that shift and watch it for yourselves! You realize once we report you to HIPAA you'll have to pull the videos. We (him as the person who went thru this experience) and me (his sister who overheard the insanely unprofessional way they were talking about my brother) will be reporting it. I am also very curious as to why you're so against giving medications that actually works for pain? There is nothing wrong with giving a narcotic when it's needed. There is nothing wrong with a patient telling you they need something stronger. Pretty sad they have to beg and you all still ignore them. It's disgusting something needs to be done about this bs!

1st off I want to say the nurse we had in short stay/ cath lab was amazing. 2nd the admission dept apparently needs more job training. My loved one was never "checked in". He was asked his name & dob and a bracelet put on him and then we were taken to the 4th floor. No concents signed, no hippa , no DL or insurance cards looked at...nothing. And not a good experience with his cardiologist who has been his dr for almost 3 yrs. The whole day was Very unsettling.
