I was impressed with the care I received while at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Every person I encountered was pleasant and helpful. The hospital was clean, with well planned patient rooms. My only complaint is that I think communication between staff, especially the doctors, should be better. They would walk into my room not knowing why I was there, nor what had been done. And the communication for me to be dismissed was pathetic. It took an entire afternoon to simply get the necessary signatures, once the go ahead had been given to dismiss. The food was surprisingly good! I was pleasantly surprised. And even more surprised when the head chef visited my room for my input regarding the meals. I gladly gave him all positive feedback. Except for some poor communication, I was very impressed with your medical facility.

From all the doctors and the nurses was outstanding. Everything went well at the hospital, my treatments were handled very professionally. The only problem I had was that upon checking out, they were supposed to pick me up at 130 to take me to the second floor for checkout. They didn't show up until 2:45. Otherwise, everything went smoothly, and the service was outstanding

My name is Jawaid Mehmood, and I have been staying at Overland Park Regional Medical Center since yesterday. I want to sincerely thank the entire staff for their outstanding care and professionalism. Day nurse Holly, night nurse Sophie day nurse ,Lily, Cyleigh (night tech), and Katherine (nurse leader) all went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well cared for. I also want to give special recognition to the MRI technician, who provided exceptional service with kindness and patience. Every time I’ve come to this hospital, the care has been excellent—and this visit was no exception. I feel confident and at peace here, and I would choose Overland Park Regional over any other hospital without hesitation. Thank you for everything you do Jawaid Mehmood

I spent roughly 4 weeks here until I delivered my son. I have never felt so happy with an ob team like I did here. I had so much trust & faith with the whole team. I told Dr.B if I was going to ever have another baby I would 10000% come back to her no questions ask. I made the decision this will be my last baby, and everyone made sure I had the best experience. Every question I had not once did anyone make me feel dumb. As someone who is overweight no one ever mention my weight (and my previous ob it was always a comment made) Dr.Perrot thank you for being so awesome every-time you round, you were the best everytime. Dr. B - I appreciate you more than you know more than I can even put into words. I’m proud of you! I wish you the best. I know you’ll do great! I’ll forever be rooting for you! Dr. Debillers? (I can’t spell ,I’m so sorry) thank you for always being so kind to me. Your smile could light up a whole room! To my nurses Kirsten, Emily, asher, and Haley who always went above & beyond for me every shift. (I’m sure there’s more I’m missing) And michaela (I know this is spelled wrong) for always going out of your way to find me the right belly band even when I wasn’t your patient that day. Jennifer - thank you so much for giving me things to do while I felt like I was going crazy. Offering to rub my feet? Such an amazing person ! Thank you for helping me decorate for my daughter’s birthday. Talking to me in general! Kristen thank you for being so awesome on game day. Making me feel comfortable & confident. Speaking up for me when I wasn’t comfortable saying something. Thank you Michael who talked me & my mom who talked to us to distracted me from what was going on so I wasn’t over thinking during the c section. Dr.Nelson thank you for helping my awesome team.
