Overland Park Regional Medical Center

I was impressed with the care I received while at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Every person I encountered was pleasant and helpful. The hospital was clean, with well planned patient rooms. My only complaint is that I think communication between staff, especially the doctors, should be better. They would walk into my room not knowing why I was there, nor what had been done. And the communication for me to be dismissed was pathetic. It took an entire afternoon to simply get the necessary signatures, once the go ahead had been given to dismiss. The food was surprisingly good! I was pleasantly surprised. And even more surprised when the head chef visited my room for my input regarding the meals. I gladly gave him all positive feedback. Except for some poor communication, I was very impressed with your medical facility.

From all the doctors and the nurses was outstanding. Everything went well at the hospital, my treatments were handled very professionally. The only problem I had was that upon checking out, they were supposed to pick me up at 130 to take me to the second floor for checkout. They didn't show up until 2:45. Otherwise, everything went smoothly, and the service was outstanding

My name is Jawaid Mehmood, and I have been staying at Overland Park Regional Medical Center since yesterday. I want to sincerely thank the entire staff for their outstanding care and professionalism. Day nurse Holly, night nurse Sophie day nurse ,Lily, Cyleigh (night tech), and Katherine (nurse leader) all went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well cared for. I also want to give special recognition to the MRI technician, who provided exceptional service with kindness and patience. Every time I’ve come to this hospital, the care has been excellent—and this visit was no exception. I feel confident and at peace here, and I would choose Overland Park Regional over any other hospital without hesitation. Thank you for everything you do Jawaid Mehmood
