My family member was in the ER this past weekend and we had to stay a few days. We got right in (-5 minutes). Staff was great and it was a good experience. Definitely a difference from other hospitals we have gone to across the metro. We would like to give especially outstanding praise to nurse Regina. She was outstanding! If we ever have any future issues, we are definitely coming back here

Mackenzie F Howard was such a waste of time and money. She doesn’t have good bedside manner, and she treats her patients like a number. She doesn’t build rapport, listen or seem to care. I’ve seen her a few times due to excessive urination and protein in urine( blood). She found it appropriate for me to seek PT for pelvic floor exercises instead of treating the infection. Even with the infection being evident in my urine and what appeared to be stones in my kidney appearing on the CT scan, she still denied treatment. She failed to request blood work to ensure the infection hadn’t or turned into something worse, like Sepsis or Staphylococcus. She definitely did not due her due-diligence. I am seeing a urologist else where and they are taking all the necessary steps after my first visit. I do not recommend Mackenzie as a provider.

Have had absolutely great care through both surgery and radiation treatments for breast cancer. Everyone was very caring, polite, and knowledgeable. I could not have asked for better care.

I’ve been a patient here at KU hospital for about three days to have a Pretty serious procedure on my lungs done Doctor Nigji the Cardiothoracic Surgeon. Has been absolutely amazing to work with Very honest and straightforward His team of nurses are unlike anyone I’ve ever Dealt with!!! Braim And Caleb are fairly new to nursing having just graduated. You would never know by watching them work. They are both very patient with me and never missed a vain one. They were both very busy, however, always made the time to answer any of my questions. I also want to mention Austin he was nurse that is on his way to becoming a nurse practitioner His communication skills not only with me and my wife also with finding out what was best for me from the doctors If he didn’t know the answers to question, he found out immediately and let me know what I was dealing with every step of the way. I must say I haven’t been the best patient due to severe pain However, this team of nurses and doctors Was always there for me. I also want to end this review with saying The KU hospital in my opinion is the absolute best hospital you could ever deal with and this comes from a man who has dealt with Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and Lee health in Florida. Prior to having this procedure done, I spent months getting a second opinion I couldn’t be happier Thanks, gentlemen and thank you KU , John Shanks🙏🙏🙏🙏
