Customer experiences
Horrible company. Turned over a house to new tenants with six broken sprinklers, one broken pipe, burned-out grass, an exposed "hot" wire, months of weeds, and a sandbox that was full of weeds but lacked sand. I wish you were as quick to fix problems as you are to slander your tenants. We took possession of the house on Monday, July 7th. Ashland agreed to have the yard "professionally" maintained prior to that. Ashland was notified of the burned-out gas, weeds, and sprinkler issue on Saturday, July 12th (which is when the photos were taken). From Ashland: We would have addressed the sprinkler issues had we been aware of them. Since the lawn appeared green, we were unaware there was a problem. As far as the sandbox goes, we understand that you are not interested in having it. However, other tenants have enjoyed it and found it to be a nice feature. As far as the sandbox goes, if you're concerned about someone tripping over it, please use caution in that area. The box currently contains sand. If you'd prefer it be filled to the top, you're welcome to add more sand.
The move in process was smooth and happy we had the month to month rental option but at move in day the townhouse wasn’t cleaned professionally (see pictures). We rented only for two months, left the townhouse spotless, better than we received it at move in. We reviewed a email that we will be charged for carpet cleaning, which a landlord cannot charge a tenant for routine carpet cleaning after only two months of rent. Landlords are responsible for standard cleaning and "normal wear and tear" of the carpet, which occurs through regular use. It was explained to us that it is because of sanitary reasons. Let me remind you of the pictures at move in day! BTW it’s been one month and we are still waiting for the remaining security deposit.
I spent 105 dollars applying through this company and got strung along for weeks after they had my application only to have them deny my application weeks after they had it. They don’t answer the phone during business hours and wont respond to your text messages for at least a whole business day.
Keena was absolutely amazing! She showed us a beautiful townhome in Utah County and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. She was professional, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions with care. We truly appreciated her time and effort thank you, Keena!
