Aspen Dental - Elizabethtown, KY

If I could leave zero stars I would. I just needed a denture repair on one tooth. When you google emergency denture repair, Aspen Dental is the first to pop up. When I called they said I must have an exam first before they do a repair. I didn’t need an exam. I have already had one this year and my insurance would not cover another one. They said it was the new doctor’s policy. So I called corporate because it does not state that you must have an exam to be able to get a repair. So corporate called them with me on the line to help me get a repair scheduled. They said that I would have to come in for an exam and that’s when the lady from corporate said she does not need an exam she needs a repair. So they said I would have to come in for a consult so they could check out my issue and see if it could be fixed. I was very happy with that. Well I went to my appointment and they refused to see me unless I had an exam done and pay out of pocket for it , which was $90. They wasted my whole day off of when I could have just went somewhere else. They do whatever they can just to make sure they can get more money from you. It’s ridiculous. I went to Affordable Denture’s and they immediately let me come back and check out my denture and will have it fixed for me in 2 hours. Aspen Dental should NOT be able to advertise something that they refuse to do. I will be sharing my story on every review I can possibly find to try and help someone else out. Go to Affordable Denture’s because they have friendly quick service, and they actually cared about my situation. I am very self conscious without my teeth and and Affordable Denture’s helped with my issue without an appointment ( I just walked in at 1:45 p.m. and my teeth will be ready at 4 p.m.) and no exams required.

Do not recommend ANY aspen dental, this place is a scam. Every time you come in they try to charge you for more and more, without any real explanation on why or what it is. Multiple occasions I got double charged for the same procedure. Make sure you get an itemized receipt, and look it over thoroughly as the billing people seem to be pretty incompetent. Don’t waste your time, money, or energy go to a family run practice where they actually care about the client not just their money….

This was supposed to be an emergency visit for a broken tooth and exposed nerve. Instead it was high pressure sales tactics, all the while leading me to believe I was going to be getting some help/ relief from the excruciating pain I was in which was making my whole face hurt. Instead there was a credit card plan signed up for and I am being charged for care that was cancelled, and never took place. Yet I am getting a bill. Is that not FRAUD, charging for services never received. I showed up there crying in pain and I left the office the same way. Crying in excruciating pain. Nothing was done to address my pain. No numbing, no temporary filling. I would not recommend Aspen to anyone.
