Really good experience with AA Autos. Their customer service was great and they kept me informed the whole way through, explaining the issue with my BMW and letting me know when the part would be available. They were able to book me in quickly as well. The repair took less time than I expected, which was a nice surprise. They also gave the car a complimentary wash and cleaned the inside, which I wasn’t expecting and really appreciated. Overall I’m very happy with their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Unfortunately, I have had bad experiences with this garage for two consecutive years and I believe there are serious issues with honesty. Last year, I left my car for MOT and repairs. Right after collecting the car, I noticed a rubbing noise from the rear wheel. When I returned, I was told, “It’s normal, the handbrake was left on for a long time.” However, the problem continued, and the next day brake fluid completely leaked from the rear left wheel. Upon inspection, I found that the brake line had been rubbing against the wheel, causing it to wear through and leak. This was extremely dangerous, and clearly a mounting error. Fortunately, I was driving slowly. I had to fix this myself. This year, when the MOT was due, I gave them the car again. I specifically said: “Check what needs to be done, tell me the total cost, and I will approve if I agree.” After two weeks, I was informed that the repair would cost £471 (parts + labor). I approved this. However, when I went to collect the car, I was suddenly told, “One part broke during the repair, you need to pay an extra £170.” I was not informed beforehand, nor was I asked for approval, and I did not have this extra money on me. They also did not acknowledge it as their mistake. Additionally, when I first left the car, the yellow airbag warning light was on. I asked, and they said it was not an MOT failure issue. Later, they changed their mind, claiming it would affect the MOT and that I had to pay an extra £86. The information given to me initially and later was completely inconsistent. In summary: Agreed prices were increased without prior notice Information and advice were inconsistent I experienced serious safety issues Communication and transparency were lacking I do not recommend this garage. Be very careful before entrusting your car and your safety to them.

I would like to thank this garage for their help and professionalism. I arrived with a significant engine oil leak shortly before closing time. Despite this, they kindly agreed to take a look at my car and asked me to drive carefully to them. They quickly identified the cause of the problem, which was related to recent work carried out elsewhere, and resolved the issue straight away. The oil leak was stopped and the engine oil was refilled. I am very grateful for their willingness to help at such a late hour, as their prompt action prevented what could have been a much more serious situation. Excellent service and very professional attitude — highly recommended.
