Dr. Peterson is a awesome cancer doctor but they decided to move infusion to 1740 building never notifying the parents and now no love one is allowed to accompany the patient while being treated. My boyfriend has other medical problems and needs to be watched. I'm not happy over the decision and neither is my boyfriend. Let Richmond build their own outpatient infusion center.

I was discharged from an IOP in Lexington and i had no place to go I have mental health issues and physical health issues. I went to my Hospital where my primary care Doctor is located and it was amazing I felt at home and welcome. I was helping people and helping with trash and clean up. I went to visit a friend and when i retuned later that day I was approached by security. They asked me who I was visiting and I gave them a patients name that i had met while I was there. I told them the truth that i had no where to go. What happened next has broken my heart and my spirit. They treated me so badly that I was ashamed...I felt so bad that i just wanted to die. they told me to get off of their property and never return. They told me that I was never allowed on any Baptist Health properties. I was in shock. I couldn't believe what i was hearing. I was so ashamed of myself for being homeless and having no where to go. I left and just wept for hours and hours. I'll never forget how they looked at me and how they spoke to me. There was no compassion or empathy in the way they treated me. Even now I feel trauma from the way they treated me. I don't understand how people feel safe going to a place like this. How did it come to this.

Saw MFM here and was transferred here to have my babies. Apart from the initial intake their environment and nurses/staff were some of the best I’ve ever had. I was actively in labor(fully dilated and effaced) with twin A breech and was rushed into emergency c-section straight out of the ambulance and was freaking out pretty bad but after I came to everything was great. I absolutely loved my day nurse(I can’t remember her name but she was amazinggggg) and the doctor who delivered them was one I’d met in the weeks before when on observation from MFM so I knew they were in good hands. They always answered our questions and concerns with genuine compassion and understanding making sure that we had all the answers we needed and fully understood them and took absolutely amazing care of my babies while they were in the NICU. We did have one NICU nurse who was overbearing and a little pushy but that’s been handled. I couldn’t have asked for a better team than the Baptist health team.
