Was at the hospital for my yearly mammogram. Little waiting time, pleasant changing room. Warmed and nice quality robe to put on. Tech was professional and explained things well. In and out in 20 minutes.

Mom, 92, was admitted from the ER to ICU, as she had an acute infection. They helped mom enough that they moved her to the 4th floor, ready to be discharged soon floor. It was recommended that she start dialysis, but she would need a surgically placed port. Mom agreed. Surgery done. Mom was placed back on 4th floor and not on a post surgery floor for care and treatment. That means mom received no fluids, food for 48 hours, appropriate pain management, etc. She was then moved to the PCU where she was treated as a hospital delirium patient where the pain was in her head. We got the the talk that mom was 92 and well ... The nurses tried to help, but were limited. Doctors came and went and went and came. The long and short is we had her moved to St Joseph's in Lexington where she has been treated with care, dignity and respect by a team with experience in geriatric care. Mom is now flourishing and we don't have to consider pulling the cord.

She was so patient and explained everything to me before we even started, her compassion for her patients is what the medical community needs more of. Such a great first experience, I high recommended FRMC for anyone getting a mammogram!

Carrie, you are so fabulous I went to the ER today around 11:00 or so I was in room 20 and my nurses Carrie I believe there was an Alex terrible with names better with faces. Seriously, I've never felt more relaxed while having an asthma attack and I've been struggling with asthma for 30 years. I cannot rave about the ladies that took care of me in room 20 today ❤️ ladies thank you!!!!!!
