Customer experiences
I went to the ER here to have a laceration fixed up. This is a really nice place and the staff is great. Everyone from the front desk to the nursing staff and physician were kind and attentive. I was in and out in less than an hour, leaving with a freshly sutured elbow and clear after-care instructions. Negative reviews here about wait time and pricing seem excessive; both of these are out of the hospital staff's control and I do not believe to be a reflection on them in any way. Wait times can be greatly influenced by staff availability and incident priority. If cost upsets you, there are these things called elections that happen at the local, state, and federal levels; that's your complaint outlet. Thank you again to the staff at this location, you guys are great!
The service and attention you get here is superb and unmatched. I call this a Roll Royce hospital because the staff makes you feel like royalty. Dr Hamilton, Armando, and Benjamin were so attentive, caring, compassionate, and competent. An experience like this is simply rare! THANK YOU for providing us the warm toasty blankets! 🥰😷
Nurses and techs were great. Doctor was the least helpful person I’ve ever encountered. I went for excruciating back and pelvic pain and she sent me home saying I was constipated. I just left the Methodist ER with an actual answer. An answer to MY BACK PROBLEM after running tests… also I’m not constipated. Thanks.
Dr. Ombaba and nursing staff was negligent in my care. No one checked the medical records of antibiotic types and dosages that are adequate for my care. I informed them of taking 800 mg. of ibuprofen and 1500 of Tylenol about an hour before arriving. The Nurse who took me back wrote allergies on my chart I do not jave. I asked it to be corrected and it was not. The same nurse later told me later that the doctor had ordered me a shot of Ketoralac which was not an NAISD. I was given a shot of 60mg. of Ketoralac. I asked again if this was okay to take with Tylenol and Ibuprofen and was told "yes, it is not an NAISD and you can take them all if needed" the Pharmacist at HEB corrected the drastic misinformation I was given. I called to ask the name of the nurse who had took me back and was so negligent. I was not given her name by anyone even though I requested it. DO NOT GO HERE
