The tour was a great experience, very informative and helpful. The nurse giving the tour was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable on the labor and delivery process and the hospital, knew all the answers to everyone’s questions, and gave great advice to expecting parents. I would recommend the tour to anyone having their baby at THP.

I delivered my first child here last week. I was a little apprehensive as I've never been admitted to a hospital, nor given birth before, but all the staff and facilities here were just amazing. I had a long labor that lasted through 3 shift changes and loved all of the nurses. I especially want to shout out to Elizabeth on night shift! She came in at the end of a long exhausting day with fresh energy and a straightforward direct approach that went a long way toward motivating me and getting me through the last period of pushing. Maddie on night shift in the mother/baby recovery unit was also fabulous! She was very knowledgeable and has such a calm and kind vibe and really put us at ease the first night with our baby.

This is the worst hospital experience I have ever had. I am currently here in the hospital and I have not had any sleep due to my adjoining room neighbor. She thinks she has come to the big city and this is her party hotel room for all her friends. They have talked loudly all day. It’s midnight and I think they finally were asked to leave. They have verbally fought with each other. The patient if left alone will scream loudly repeatedly for hours “nurse, nurse help me, someone help me”. This goes on all day if she is left alone. Then her party group comes back and they yell talk to each other. I know I can hear five different voices. This went on the entire day today. They think they are in a Days Inn. These are old women. It is now 1:30 am. The nurses will not handle any of it and act like they don’t hear a thing. This is the second night of this and the nurse denial. Different sets of nurses I might add. Do absolutely nothing. This is a HOSPITAL. I am here because I am very ill. I cannot get better with this unbelievable attitude from the nurses to not deal with these issues. It causes much more stress on top of being very ill. I am truly appalled that a hospital would disrespect its patients and allow this nonsense go on ALL DAY AND TWO NIGHTS. THE ABSOLUTE WORST HOSPITAL IN DALLAS IF YOU NEED HEALING CARE. IMPOSSIBLE TO REST and FEEL BETTER. YOU WILL FEEL WORSE WHEN YOU ARE RELEASED.
