Customer experiences
NTMC doesn’t get enough credit. I recently had to visit the ER, and everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind and professional. I was taken back quickly, and the nurses and NP-(Stewart is awesome!!) checked on me multiple times and clearly explained everything they were doing and what to expect. It was busy and there was some waiting, but the consistent communication and check-ins made a huge difference. I’m very grateful for the care I received.
I’m very happy that I chose to have my baby at NTMC (December 2025). My whole experience was top-notch, but best of all were the wonderful nurses working there! I am so thankful to them for all they did for my family and I.
Arrived and was taken back within 5 mins. CT scan was ordered within 30 mins. And completed as soon as my pain was under control. Nurse Jennifer was so polite and explained all the medication she was giving me. Doctor was great as well and was very helpful about my next steps to heal my body.
Registeration is the most rudest people. They make you feel like they’re talking about you behind your back. Which sets a bad vibe instantly. It seems like they’ve already formed an opinion about you before you even sit down. When one is called in to a different office for payment plan, you feel like you have been called to the principal’s office. The office manager was nice, the lady at the desk that registered me had already formed her opinion before I sit down. And she kept shaking her head at me and getting up and going to a different office and shouting the door and talking about me.When I walked out of registration I spoke very bluntly to her and said thank you for your pleasantly. At this point I was not only embarrassed but pissed off. I hope no one ever has to experience this. I am normally a pleasant person, but not today or yesterday on the phone.Once I get my bill paid, if at all possible I will not be back. Radiology on the other hand is nice and pleasant.
North Texas Medical Center is a general hospital.
