Medical Center Hospital

This is the worst place to take your loved one in an emergency. My wife had a back injury that caused nausea, vomiting, numbing of the legs, and could not move in the worst pain ever. We called 911 and the paramedica took here there. By the time I got there I was surprised to find her on a chair crying in pain I'm the middle of the waiting area. I stood there with here a few minutes and then pleaded with the nursing staff to get a Dr. To see here. They said she was going to have to wait for a room !!!!. I begged them to do something because this was an actual EMERGENCY!!!!!!. WHO knows what happened to here back. Or worse. A few minutes later. I asked again. And they rolled their eyes at me. Then when I pulled up to the front to wheel here out to another hospital , the nurse came out to see if she had an IV, like as if she didn't even know. !. Then had the nerve to smile in an evil sarcasted way that made my heart sink. Took here to the other hospital I'm Odessa. They took here right away. Dr. Saw her immediately and got here some meds and ran test. The lack of compassion from the ER staff at MCH on Odessa is astonishing. I can't believe they treat people this way. We had Blue Cross Blue shield and were treated like dogs. Please dont ever go there if you have a real emergency.

Christmas Day & nurses were friendly & acted happy to be here even tho we all know they wish they were at home with their family!! I appreciate the time they spent on me. I thank them al!!!

This hospital is one of the worst hospitals. And odessa, the midland has a way better hospital? The staff on the 6th floor does not care. I wanna acknowledge you has no compassion. You can call and call and call them. And they say there will be right there. And they don't show up, not even till it's shift change. I'm one of the nurses. Also it's very rude and does not check-up on you I really hope they do something about this hospital.And I feel sorry for a lot of the patients, if you are ever thinking about going to this hospital go to odessa regional hospital. They are way better and more professional.
