House of Ming at the Taj St James Court London delivered an absolutely exceptional lunch experience! From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was perfectly serene and elegant, creating a truly special atmosphere. We started with the Golden Fried Prawn, which was crispy and bursting with flavour, followed by the perfectly seasoned Chicken Salt and Pepper, and the delicate Prawn Har Gao Dimsum. Each appetizer was a testament to the kitchen's mastery of Chinese cuisine. For our mains, the Hakka Noodles were cooked to perfection, the Chilli Oyster Fish was rich and satisfying, and the Veg Fried Rice was a delightful accompaniment. The delectable flavours of each dish were truly memorable. A special mention must go to Dexter, whose warm welcome and attentive service made our lunch even more enjoyable. His care and professionalism ensured we had a truly wonderful time. We can't wait to return to House of Ming for another incredible meal!

The Chinese food is tasty. Though for the price the main course quantity is questionable. The staff is courteous and welcoming. Attention to detail is remarkable. One drawback is that they have some on going problem with their bathrooms where the housekeeping staff had to be called again and again.

House of Ming, Chinese cuisine inspired by regional Sichuan and Cantonese cooking and owned by the Taj Group of hotels. The restaurant is big but split into lots of smaller sections. The “Scallop golden garlic” was the best of all the dim sum; very thin and delicate. The Turbot was a letdown; bland. Service was very good indeed, being extremely attentive and helpful.

My friends and I recently came to celebrate a 30th birthday, I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of food and customer service! The food was beautifully cooked, my friend and I had ordered the crispy aromatic duck with a side of egg fried rice which. We also ordered cocktails off the menu which were refreshing and definitely complimented each dish. We all thoroughly enjoyed experiencing great service from Shah who was so lovely and nice - he really went above and beyond (thank you for cutting the cake for us and being extremely patient with taking our photos). Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!
