I inquired about a book Better World Books had listed on eBay, and after my inquiry, they tripled the price. I’ve reported them for price gouging—this behavior feels really unfair, especially for a company that promotes itself as ethical.

Amazing! I got multiple used books that said they were in “Very Good” condition - there were two of them that looked brand new, and the others were excellent quality. Due to what I’ve gotten from other services, I was expecting “Very Good” to mean “the words aren’t damaged so you can still read it but the rest is falling apart.” No, this “Very Good” Actually means “Very Good.” I was a little frustrated that once I submitted my order I could no longer see an expected delivery date, plus the package tracking was infrequent, but it was only about 2 days after the initial expected date that I received my order, and with the quality of the books, I can’t complain too much.

While I never received my order, after a few back and forths, they did refund my money. So I would consider buying from them again.

I recently found out about these guys and they are *awesome.* I was looking for a better alternative to Half-Price and here I found them. They ship very quickly, their prices are super low, and they have an incredible selection. And if they don't have the book you're looking for used, they can offer a new version through one of their affiliates.
