Exceptional Service and Honest Expertise I recently took my Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV to Wiltshire & Sons in Farnham for a cabin heating issue, a common but frustrating problem. After calling several main dealers who quoted incredibly high prices, I found this team through a recommendation on the UK Mitsubishi Outlander forum. It was the best decision I could have made. From the start, Jacqueline was amazing. She explained the repair process step by step and arranged a courtesy car for me. Even though it was a long drive for me to get there, the service made it well worth it. What impressed me most was their honesty; Jacqueline called me the first evening to explain that although they had worked on the car, a test drive showed the issue wasn’t 100% resolved. They kept it for a second day to ensure it was perfect. When I collected it, she walked me through everything they had done. The heater is working perfectly now. I highly recommend Wiltshire & Sons for their transparency and expertise.
I purchased a car from this garage in may 2025 and was very happy with the service at first. Within 3 months, the car had engine oil lights constantly, I took it in to be looked at by the garage TWICE in July under the 3 month warranty we had (suspicious, because on the website it mentions they give 1 year, almost like they KNEW the car was dodgy and yet sold it to a young family with 2 toddlers) anyway they ‘looked’ at the car and I was told there’s no problem and to just keep topping it up with oil. In November, the car broke down and the timing chain snapped at 65k miles (fine, that’s wear and tear and bad luck) but also there was a HUGE oil leak and 2 injectors failed. The garage & warranty both refused to help me and so I paid £1.9k to get this repair done elsewhere. driving home from the garage, the car broke down again, my mechanic found lots of dodgy work had been done to the car before purchase. The coolant system had been blanked off by screws, there was sealant all over the engine, there were screws that were the wrong size shoved in all over the place, and the car was mapped. My mechanic suspected it was not the original engine at 65k miles that I was told it was. The garage has not helped me at all, I am now 10k in finance for 5 years for a car that does not drive AFTER spending almost 2k to fix it. All because it was about 20 days after warranty expired EVEN though they had looked at it twice and did not even find the HUGE OIL LEAK which tells me, they didn’t even look. As 2 breakdown and my mechanic spotted it immediately. Very dissatisfied. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
