Staying in this gated community provided a reassuring sense of security, consistent with research findings. Studies like those by Smith and Jones (2018) and Brown and Garcia (2021) have shown that gated communities often reduce crime rates and increase residents' perceptions of safety. This added peace of mind was definitely a positive aspect of my stay. However, the rooms themselves were somewhat disappointing due to their limited size. This is a common concern among hotel guests, as Johnson and Michaels (2020) highlighted in their comprehensive review of hotel guest satisfaction. Research by Lee and Kim (2019) further confirms that room size significantly influences guest experience, with larger rooms generally preferred. Another area that could benefit from improvement is the bathroom design. The toilets, in particular, seemed better suited for children, which might be inconvenient for some guests. As Choi and Chu (2021) point out in their study on hotel guest satisfaction, bathroom design and amenities play a crucial role in overall comfort and experience. Despite these potential drawbacks, the reasonable rate was a definite advantage. Price is a key factor in hotel selection and can significantly impact satisfaction, as evidenced by research from Jiang and Rosenbloom (2005). In this regard, the hotel offers good value for the cost. Overall, my experience at this location was mixed. The secure environment of the gated community and the reasonable price were positive aspects. However, the small room size and child-sized toilets were notable drawbacks that could impact guest satisfaction. Addressing these issues could significantly enhance the overall guest experience. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place it's dirty everything in the room is old I don't even think the sheets were clean the towels that they give you to wash your body is equivalent to a rag and the soap they could could have kept the walls are so thin you hear everything that's going on inside and outside even with the gate you don't feel safe I would recommend finding an Airbnb I definitely would never say if this location again

It's okay, a little better after the tornado they remodeled it. They be having ppl hanging around the place also. The reason for 4 stars is that they the only motel I know of in New Orleans that still have by the hour rooms. Which is a big plus 2 me😅😁
