The motel is all about price point. It’s room and board. The room was clean. The environment was ok, younger generation would most likely say sketchy or sus. I didn’t find it that way. Night staff took care of us. Morning staff was friendly with the exception of the manager. We didn’t have any complaints but it was just about his customer service approach regarding the iron we requested. The lobby is closed like from 9 or 10 until 7 the next morning, so don’t expect early morning coffee. The only real critique is a piece of furniture as shown in photo.

Besides the location being pretty good. This place as a whole would be negative stars if possible. Not only the rooms are abismal and not keeped up to date maintenance wise. There is some serious issues with this hotel. Start with the water from the faucet and shower has a brownish tint to it. The smell is metallic and completely off putting. The shower water makes it feel like your body has a film over it like someone dropped a gallon of ky on ya. Certain rooms had bed bugs. An along other bugs like cockroaches and water bugs. They give you their word on one shift than tell the other shift another. I would not recommend this hotel for it's complete negligence not only in the front office but just management and the care of the hotel itself. I'd rather pitch a tent near a dumpster than spend one more night at this crap shoot. #PoorExcuseOfAHotel #BedBugsToStrong #CockroachStoleMyTolietPaper

We had a really nice stay here! The room was clean and comfortable, and the bedding was fresh and inviting. The sheets could use updating, while they are clean and fresh, they were very rough on the skin. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which always makes a big difference when you’re on the road. One thing that threw us off at first was the water color—it looked a bit yellow, almost like someone had used the toilet before we arrived. But after asking around, I found out it’s just how the local water is treated. No issue with cleanliness, but it would be helpful if they posted a small note near the sink or bathroom explaining it to guests. It’s definitely not what it seems at first glance. I specifically picked this Red Roof because it didn’t have carpet. Motel carpet always feels kind of gross to me, so I was glad to find laminate flooring instead. That said, the room did have an old beer smell, like someone spilled a drink and it wasn’t quite cleaned up. A good mopping would take care of it—nothing major, and definitely not a dealbreaker. Even though it’s right off the interstate, we didn’t have any issues with noise and slept really well. Another bonus: there’s a Taqueria right next door with fantastic margaritas to go and some of the best churros I’ve ever had. Overall, I’d absolutely stay here again. Comfortable, clean bedding, laminate floors, friendly staff, and good food next door? That’s a win for me!

The first front desk clerk i talked to demanded a $50 cash deposit even though I had paid online. When I came back in, The new person made no mention of it, and when I brought it up, she blew it off.. The elevator was also out of order, and the room didn't have the fridge or microwave that were advertised. There were 2 pillows for 2 people, and when I asked for a few more, she said they were out of pillows..No trash can in the room either which I though was weird.. overall a very sketchy experience, not sure i would recommend this place to my grandma BUT it's cheap, allowed my pup to stay for free, conveniently located and mostly clean. 3.5/10
