Several reasons actually. First off I was told this hotel is not pet friendly. There was five dogs running around the hotel. None of them in service animal vests or trained in such a way. Second I was told that there was no deposit for damages when I spoke over the phone to a front desk agent. I arrived and they said that is wrong. So far not a great impression for a first time stay. Disappointed. Next, I get in the room and there is no shampoo or conditioner and both sinks are leaking, which caused me to use the shower towels. When I got to the front desk and asked for more towels, they said they didn't have any. To top it off they didn't even bother to make breakfast on Friday morning. Overall I was just disappointed all around, feeling lied to and cheated during my stay. Quite honestly I would never come back to this hotel. The biggest thing was the pool was not in service the entire weekend. We were hoping to relax during our wedding weekend to shake off all the stress. After all of these above mentioned issues, I know my friend asked for a discount. I believe a discount for the duration of my stay is the least that could be done.

The rooms weren’t bad, we did have to switch rooms because the tub drain was clogged up with hair and gunk and the water wasn’t draining. The workers and “scenery” was a whole different story. While we were there, we were told by the manager that there was a stabbing in the parking lot that led to several cop cars there bright and early that morning. We were also woken up several times throughout the night/early morning from people yelling and arguing in the hallway. It’s a “non smoking” facility; however, people still do it. The lobby smells of marijuana when we arrived and we actually witnessed a customer walk in smoking it and one of the workers walked in with her. Overall, we would NOT recommend this place and it is obvious why the rooms are so cheap. 0/10 stars. The manager was reasonable and seemed as though he was trying to make some changes but the other customers and workers are making that very difficult.

They ran out of food by 7AM and didn’t have coffee cups, they finally put a little food back out. My room didn’t even have any towels or wash rags. I had to go to the front desk to get some. No shampoo or lotion think goodness I brought my own. The toilet inside of it was dirty. The pillow cases were stained with blood and the blanket was either dirty or stained.

I was quite disappointed with my stay and I'm not a complainer. Cleanliness wasn't great. Hair in tub and on bathroom floor. Tub didn't look great. All floors really not that clean. Entire floor, not just where people walk, really needs good cleaning. Bedside table had water or coffee rings from previous occupant. Tried to clean it but looks like it stained the tabletop. Remote control was very oily/greasy. I washed that and felt comfortable using it after the washing. Refrigerator freezer was so iced up the door wouldn't close so water was dripping onto the floor and items in refrigerator not kept cold. Bed was comfortable and clean. AC worked well and not loud.
