Jenna ToddOn our visit to Bath today we had seen other cafes mentioned online and went to have a look, several of them had queues out of the door. WELL CAFE PASTEL SHOULD HAVE A QUEUE! It was beautiful. The lovely decor was matched with lovely people the staff were so friendly and smiley, helpful and informative. We loved that everything was baked fresh and no menus were there as such as all the options were there to see! They all looked delicious. We decided on a sweet cream tea and wow, each element was exquisite, the scone was huge, warm, soft and deliciously sweet, the jam and cream set it off to a tee and the cup of tea was well deserved. Fatini NurEDIT: I came back here a few times after my last review however there was nothing vegan for cookies, cakes or macarons so I could not buy any sweet stuff from here. Vegan sweet options are not served everyday which is disappointing as I would love to visit more often and get something. amazing coffee with lots of vegan options including macarons, sandwiches and cakes!

For a quick takeaway snack, I got an almond croissant for about £3.50, and was deliciously warm baked fresh that morning. The croissant was crispy and full of flavour. Cute little cafe in a great location near the oldest tree in the area. Would recommend! Hopefully I’ll be back to try the paninis.
