Mark GarsdenSo, first of all the customer service was 5 stars. I can’t fault this aspect of this. However, I took my car to PJ’s for a repair of the rear speakers under an RAC warrantee. In a nutshell, one speaker worked intermittently, one made some white noise, and the diagnosis was that it needed new speaker modules. So, 2 speaker modules later and the speakers still don’t work. On top of that I had to take it to the manufacturer for an ECU reprogram. Now, again the customer service aspect was faultless. They were going to pick up the cost. I was also told that this should sort the speakers. Well, it didn’t. So it went back to PJ’s, to be told there was nothing wrong with the speakers, despite the fact I was stood there with a speaker working intermittently and one doing farts and burps. Now they did offer to do more investigation, and to physically look at the speakers, stripping the door panel off, however it could end up costing me if it wasn’t the speakers. The revelation that this hadn’t been done in the first place was a bit too much for my liking. So I declined, bought 2 speakers and stuck them in…. And would you believe it. They worked!! So, 5 stars for customer service, 0 stars for the professionally trained engineers actually fixing something which took me an hour!
