This use to be a great hospital. They are not so great anymore. They had my mother sit for 5 hours with a broken wrist with no answers with nothing. My mother is not the only patient they had sitting waiting for hours. I could see a long wait if they was busy but they was not. All nurses doctors any of the workers was just sitting in the middle at the nurses station just laughing having a great time while they was making patients wait and wait for hours. This is ridiculous from here on we will by pass this place and go to Lexington.

When my son had a medical emergency and had to be brought in by the ambulance, the ED did an amazing job! The staff were skilled and knowledgeable and worked very quickly to stabilize him. As a medical professional myself, it is a comfort to know that this community has such a great resource for pediatric emergencies. I will forever be grateful for the ED for helping my son.

The PA and other medical professionals were amazing. The receptionist was rude. I heard her tell a woman who was pleading for help stating she needed assistance due to a stroke, “I told you to stand here and wait!!! Now you have to sit down and wait more” the lady told her she needed the salt from the crackers she went to grab, and big back said she didn’t care. Every patient she checked in after “go sit down”….. her mannerisms are awful!!

I was in the emergency room most of a day with a kidney infection at that time. Many tests were performed & blood work with a very kind & caring staff. I was told I would be admitted & later a person said I was being dismissed with a pill medication. At home, I became worse & the next day Clark Regional called & said for me to go to St. Joseph emergency room where my urologist was. I was admitted there & remained for 5 days with UTI & septic. I was told something was wrong with the equipment for determining the type of infection I had from my blood samples!at Clark Regional. Therefore sent somewhere else & finally to UK. To this day, I have not heard from that blood work. A certain type antibiotic was working & they continued with it at St Joesph. The Infectious Disease Doctor sent me home with a picc line & 10 day supply of antibiotics given 3 times a day. I wonder what happened to my blood work & why I wasn’t admitted earlier.
