Today was a really great experience for me. The desk team and management took care of an urgent matter for me and went above and beyond with their customer service so I really appreciated the service I got from them. They may be busy and wait times can be long which is why I generally just do online banking but at the end of the day the staff is there to help with things that can't be done online and they did an amazing job at helping me out today.

The worst experience ever with a bank in Canada. After opening an account account for day to day transaction. I deposit funds find but when I tried to use my funds via e-transfer the froze my account for no reason. I spoke to a rep and the cancel the transfer after a few days I got it back. They told me I would no problem transfer to my other bank with name. I did that and they froze my account and ask me to send pictures of my passport I did that. And that and after a few day the unfreeze the account and said it's verified. I ask to speak to a manager to understand what was going on. I did not make a complaint or a fust and they told me because I ask to speak to a manager it's a complaint So i have to sign some papers or close the account. I closed it. It to 7 days for me to be able to use funds that was directly deposited

They exceeded my expectations. Looks like the current team in place is operating things nicely. They answered my somewhat vague questions really well. I was surprised at how well informed they are.

They claim to be about "community values" and have a "social conscience," but it's all a sham. They're a bank. They exist to make money. If lying to their customers gets them a few bucks, then they'll do it. They engage in predatory unethical lending! STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!
