Weeks of phone calls/holds and a visit to this branch to try and sort a locked account with substantial cash in it. No explanation as to why, and no direction on who to contact to address this. Money still held hostage after a month! in competent, and likely illegal. Stay away.

The worst bank in Canada, maybe in the world. They can block your account without informing you for weeks. Their call center employees just talk and they have no power or access to anything. " The back office" is looking into it" means they decided to play with you. Hope they enjoy it because you won't!

The tellers here are very slow and constantly ask you to do extra tasks like adding your 2nd ID to your account and updating all your info. Many times I was waiting in line for 30 minutes while the 2 tellers each helped someone. The Coast Capital Bank service has overall gone downhill. When we were travelling, the banks were constantly down for maintenance and we were unable to withdraw money after landing in a foreign country. We required a bank draft for our mortgage today and we were told the printers were down for all branches and it was not possible. We left our phone numbers for them to call us as soon as the system was fixed. No other solutions were offered. We went back a few hours later to check in and the system was fixed, yet we were not called!!! This other teller offered to do the draft by hand if the printers weren't working! Why weren't we told that earlier??? It was a very stressful morning when it didn't need to be! I'm very frustrated that for the most important financial event of our lives, they didn't follow through or offer solutions until asked. The tellers at Metro are particularly incompetent. I've had enough and I will be switching banks soon (15 years as a customer and their service gets worse every year).

I’ve been a member for over 30 years and never had any issues until today. As others have said this location desperately needs more tellers or something. At 1 PM on a Monday the lineup is 8 people deep and has not moved in 35 minutes. The same 2 people being helped the entire time - not sure if they are applying for a mortgage or what. They desperately need an express line for easy/quick transactions and more tellers to move the line.
