Customer service is severely lacking in this healthcare system but so much so in this location, I feel that a review is necessary. I was immediately greeted by Amber C. at the check in station, to say that she was unpleasant and a poor representation for any company that is bothered with improving their patient experience. She was indifferent, cold and not who I would want to greet my customers at the door. Corewell may have many great staff who genuinely care for the people they serve, she is one I would not showcase at the front entrance. Do better Corewell.

Absolutely the worst treatment towards my adult cognitively disabled son I EVER experienced!!!! They flat out REFUSED to do a Special Olympics sports physical for him because he is disabled!! WOW!!!! They claimed he would need an MRI .....NOT TRUE!!! THEY JUST DIDN'T WANT TO DEAL WITH MY SON. AND SHE GOT VERY VERY ANGRY WHEN MY SON ASKED HER IF SHE WAS A "REAL" DR. Well he is mentality disabled so he didn't understand that that would be insulting. I am SO beyond upset!!. I DO NOT recommend anyone supporting this place in any fashion.

I visited Corewell Health Urgent Care in Big Rapids for what turned out to be a straightforward issue. I was at the facility for about an hour, but spent nearly all of that time alone in a room. My actual interaction with medical staff totaled maybe 15 minutes. Despite this, I was billed $677, coded as a complex/moderate-level visit. When I disputed the charge, I received contradictory explanations: first I was told Corewell does not compare its pricing to other facilities, then later I was told their pricing is “comparable to peers.” I also raised the issue of a 15% “prompt pay discount” well before the stated deadline, yet the discount was never applied or documented on my statements or MyChart account. Instead, I was repeatedly pushed toward full payment or a payment plan while my dispute was ignored. Patients deserve transparent pricing and accurate billing. Instead, I’ve received inflated charges, inconsistent answers, and stonewalling when trying to resolve a clear discrepancy. If Corewell wishes to address this concern further, I expect direct communication through MyChart so there is a written record of all interactions.

We were given the option to be seen virtually but still "in office" so that the wait tine would be shorter. It was very quick, staff was very friendly. The nurse sits in room with you to assist and take vitals for the Dr on the telemed screen. The CNA was giving me fun family things to do around the area since we just moved here as well. Highly satisfied!
