Crowne Plaza Indianapolis-Airport, an IHG Hotel

This hotel will say they have handicap rooms but technically not at all handicap friendly. Rooms were nice although 1 in our group had bed bugs so was moved. No notes were in computer the next morning when I talked to the front desk and the next day when we discussed it at check out. Entry doors extremely heavy The button to automatically open the handicap room did not work. They have no rooms with roll or walk in showers. One handicap bar at front to step in tub but nothing to hold on while standing if needed. You had to stand in back of tub for water to hit you, no bar. Low toilets. High beds. I had to ask the clean breakfast area to be restocked. Fortunately you could not hear the roar of the expressway inside the hotel. Holiday Inn needs to be more honest about their handicap offerings. I won't use them again.

I had such a great experience! Vicki at the front desk was phenomenal and so kind to my toddler. Rooms were very clean, pool was well maintained, and breakfast was good! When I come to visit Indy again, I'll definitely be staying here.

The room was clean and housekeeping was reliable. The location was convenient, being close to our workplace. Check-in, however, took longer than expected as there were some issues locating our reservation. Additionally, our Diamond Elite status seems not acknowledged during the stay, which differs from our experience at other IHG properties. As Diamond Elite members, we usually enjoy benefits such as early check-in, room upgrades, welcome amenities, and recognition upon arrival.
