Well, because I am visually impaired in the group that stayed with me at the motel. Is visually impaired as well. A lot of us are totally blind, but some of us can see a little bit. And the staff really went out of their way to help us to be sure that we got where we needed to go. And if we needed help in our rooms, they would come and be sure that we had the stuff we needed. Sometimes we had to ask for it, but if we ask for it, normally they would come to the room. The only negative thing that I would say about the weekend was, They let us use the activity room for free and we don’t have to pay anything, but the air conditioning was out in there so it got pretty hot. But I understand they were putting a new unit in that area or whatever as far as the motel is concerned. So, like I said, I understand things happen. But it was just pretty hot outside this year and the room didn’t feel much better. But like I said, I knew they were fixing it. And they really had fans and stuff. And they made sure that we had coffee and they wrote the continental breakfast was nice as well. That’s really great. You offer that because we don’t have to pay for it, it comes comes with our room as you well know. So I really enjoyed it and thank you so much. I will come back!

The hotel was very nice and our room was great. It was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. One thing I did not like was that the room was freezing and there was no way to adjust the air conditioning or turn it off. Good thing the duvet on the bed was warm. Also, when I checked out, the clerk was busy setting up the breakfast and just yelled to leave the keys. I would have liked a receipt for my stay.

The room was clean, decent, but for mobility accessible; it was a bit lacking. The bathtub needed a mat as it was very slick when I entered. A couple of open holes in the tub were odd. The pool was nice, although I never saw lights, so it was like swimming in a dark room. Looks like the hot tub is no longer available. I would still recommend it as a nice place to stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The bathroom had the most accessible shower/tub arrangement I’ve found, and great hot showers that did not run cold or trickly! The beds and pillows were comfy, as was the heating/cooling unit and blackout curtains. The staff was friendly and helpful, too, and the breakfast offerings were varied. The only reason I did not give this hotel a perfect score was the lack of coffee in the room; I was told they were in the process of switching out all the coffee makers to make them the same throughout. I hope this is remedied the next time I stay there.
