I would strongly caution anyone considering this company for property management. The experience I had was extremely disappointing for both landlord and tenant relations. I hired them to manage my property as I live in another state. At the beginning, their pitch made it seem like they were organized and professional. However, once they had my business, the service quickly declined. Communication was poor, charges for “maintenance” were added without itemized proof, and when I requested an itemized statement, I was told by an administrator that “they don’t do that.” Instead, they would provide a typed note saying the work was done — which is not acceptable or transparent. Payments were inconsistent and incomplete. Despite the property being well-kept and problem-free, I often received only a fraction of what was owed — sometimes just a third of the rent — with no proper explanation. In all my experience, I’ve never encountered a property management service that operated with so little accountability. If you value clear communication, transparency, and professionalism, I do not recommend using this company. They are definitely scamming and should not be in the business.

My experience with DeSantis has been GREAT since day 1. From viewing the property to assistance with setting up utilities at my new place. The online portal is awesome, and the property manager Judy has answered ALL my questions and been there for me during the entire process. Judy is definitely an asset to the company.

‼️‼️RENTER BEWARE‼️‼️ I’m trying to wrap my head around these four and five star reviews. They had to have been written by somebody within the company, because there’s no way they’re accurate. Do not use this property management. Do not believe the good reviews. That is unless you’re OK with no responses for any of your issues. Keep in mind these issues were heat and electric related. If you’re OK with paying for a month of rent with no heat or proper working lights (strobe light city in every room) while being ran in circles by them, then absolutely, sign right up! If you’re OK with having electricity in only half your upstairs, for six months again, give them a call! If you’re OK with nobody in the office having communication with each other or relaying messages then, once more, have at it! I received little to no response for everything, until I started being rude, which I don’t like to do. I had already planned on moving at this point. It was more of a theory that I was testing. I was right. Being polite gets you nowhere with them (trust me, I tried). I got all the appointment and responses I needed when I decided to be brash. Too bad I wasn’t there to keep them😏. I guess I just forgot to tell them I was moving out. It doesn’t feel good to be ignored and not communicated with. Does it? That was probably a pretty crappy conversation to have with the property owner. Really shows what kind of company they’re running. I paid rent early every single month so, I’m sure he was thrilled… It got to the point where I ate the deposit just to get the hell away from this company. Then they proceeded to try to charge me more money after I moved out, which was comical considering everything I put up with during my time with these despicable people (I made it 6 months). I’m sure they will respond to this review with some type of copy and pasted, “we care and we appreciate the criticism and we”ll work on it”, blah blah blah. Save your breath. I want and need nothing from you, especially not a response to this review. But, don’t worry you’re good at not responding anyway, so I’m sure it won’t be an issue for you.😉 If you value your money, your time and your energy stay far, far away.
