I saw your ad on Facebook and thought I'd give it a try. I've had pain in my legs and feet, and not able to stand for long periods of time for a few months. Over the last year, I've noticed a hump at the base of my neck because of poor posture, and looking down at my phone. I have been really tired and not feeling well rested for years. I LOVE LOVE their holistic approach. They did a detailed assessment my first appointment, and the treatments are personalized to fit my needs. They give me tools so that I can incorporate my healing in my day-to-day life. It isn't a "quick fix." It's really helped me look at my life as a whole, including what I eat, and I am making better choices for myself and my family. In the short amount of time I've received treatment, I've noticed a HUGE improvement! I wake up feeling well rested, and feeling amazing, less pain in my legs and feet, and decreased inflammation. Starting treatment with Dr Dietz and his team has been one of the best things I've done!

I had been a patient at Discover Health Chiropractic in Cedar Rapids and was enrolled in an automatic billing plan, which charged me at the beginning of each month for that month's services. On April 1st, I contacted them to request a cancellation of all future services and appointments, clearly stating that while I could no longer afford to continue, I did not want to continue the services regardless and that I did not have the time for further appointments or discussions. Despite this clear and timely cancellation, they insisted I come into the office to discuss it, which was incredibly inconvenient and unnecessary given my lack of time. Furthermore, I was billed for the month of April, which I had to dispute with my credit card company and was thankfully refunded. Shockingly, I have now also been billed for services in May, which I clearly did not want or request, and I will now have to go through the process of disputing these charges with my credit card company as well. This continued unauthorized billing demonstrates a significant lack of respect for my cancellation request and my time. Adding insult to injury, they continue to send me reminders for appointments that I never requested and have no intention of attending. Beyond the billing issues and unwanted contact, I found the atmosphere within the clinic to be somewhat cult-like, which made me feel very uncomfortable during my visits. They also have a very hard-sell approach regarding my return to their services, which I find pushy and unwelcome. While the services provided seemed good initially, and the staff appeared caring, the subsequent experience has been overwhelmingly negative. Despite my explicit request to cease all communication, Discover Health Chiropractic has continued to contact me relentlessly. I continue to receive numerous calls and text messages from various different phone numbers and at different times throughout the day. This persistent and unwanted contact is highly frustrating and feels like a complete disregard for my request and my boundaries. Due to the inconvenient and unnecessary demand for an in-person cancellation discussion (despite my lack of time and clear communication), the uncomfortable atmosphere, the incorrect billing for both April and May (requiring me to dispute both charges with my credit card company), their hard-sell tactics for my return, the ongoing and unwanted contact, and the continued sending of unrequested appointment reminders, I would not recommend Discover Health Chiropractic to anyone.

This location is run like its family. Great people that care about your health, care about you, and care what you think about their services! Highly recommend them.
