EPM was fine to deal with for the most part. they provided fast and effective responses whenever something was wrong. the building we were in was another story, though. the first month we were there, we had found multiple cockroaches roaming the lit hallways. shortly after that, we found tons of mold hiding underneath our curtains in the ceiling. they sent out a drywall guy to fix it, and afterwards, the ceiling was bowed and the curtains did not close properly. i let them know of this, and sent someone out to fix it the same week. as a result, a severe leak was caused and every time it rained, our carpet would be soaking wet from the continuous flow of water coming out of our ceiling. this was never fixed. the carpet is most likely filled with mold underneath as a result. i made sure to rug doctor the carpet almost monthly because it really stunk and had embedded cat hair throughout the unit before we moved in. it was definitely old carpet and it showed. EPM decided they would charge me a carpet cleaning fee upon move out, which i do not appreciate because i spent so much time, effort, and money on cleaning chemicals to make the carpet in better condition than we got it in. a month later, our thermostat got stuck onto the highest heat setting and it was fixed promptly. additionally, the people in the westfield apartment complex are not ideal neighbors. nobody picks up their dog poop, people leave trash scattered all over, and the shopping carts that are there for convenience are almost never in the right spot. its just not an ideal place all around to live. elite property management was okay, though, and are definitely one of the better companies in ames. just beware of the westfield apartments.

Elite Property Management is an amazing company! The owner is super nice and truly cares about both his team and the residents. The maintenance guys always do great work and respond quickly whenever a work order is put in. They also do an excellent job keeping the outside areas clean and looking good for the residents. You can tell they take pride in making sure everything looks great and runs smoothly. Highly recommend Elite Property Management!

I have nothing but great things to say about Elite Property Management! Let me preface this by saying that I worked in college athletics for almost ten years and have lived in multiple states dealing with a variety of property managements, and Elite was by far the best to work with! Not only was my apartment amazing but the complex itself was also very well taken care of. The grass was always cut, they were always on top of snow removal, and they were always very timely on any maintenance requests that I submitted. In addition to being clean and well cared for, everyone I spoke with was very friendly and happy to help me with any issue I might have had! For example, I left some chairs in my garage upon moving out and instead of throwing them away, they called to ask if I would like to come pick them up! They are a very friendly property management company, who has some very cute and well priced apartments! I would highly recommend Elite to anyone who may be looking to rent in the Ames area!

Elite Property management has been outstanding in providing a very comfortable living accommodations. When issues of repair develop , they respond usually next day. They also have a 24 hour hot line for emergency needs. The amenities are great and the value of quality living keeps me happy and plan to stay many more years.
