Tuesday Morning August 26, 2025 I never give reviews for anything, however today I could not let my experience at the Kirkland Lake site of Blanche River Hospital go unnoticed. From the moment I walked in the door I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness, full professionalism, my visit to the E.R was amazing. Every individual employee The Triage The Receptionist The Vitals Nurse The Blood Work Nurse The N.P R.Nurse The ECG Nurse The X- Ray Technician The Ultrasound Technician The C.T Scan Technician The Cleaning Staff YOU ALL ARE AMAZING PROFESSIONALS I CANNOT THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH, YOU ALL ARE THE FRONT LINE WORKERS THAT DESERVE EVERY CREDIT. I was at at Emerg yesterday September 2 and my wait time was acceptable and expected. Dr.Spiller was the doc in charge and he was awesome. Took time to explain and his manner was casual but professional. He has a good sense humor which I appreciated. Kudos to Blanche River Health on the awesome ED team. Honorable mention to the triage nurse. Kind, non judging and good disposition. She was busy but still smiled! I must include another team member from the lab, a lovely woman who came to draw blood on a beautiful older lady who was waiting in the emerg as well. Lab tech was so smiley and friendly she really lit up the room.

Waited 8 hours with open infected surgical incision I was left as last person in even earache taken in first! They turned off lights on my husband in waiting room while I was finally in to be seen. My hand probably will never heal correctly. Due to swelling and infection my epidermis skin did not heal together there is big gap. Needs more surgery if skin can grow. More trips to Sudbury at about $400. Each.
