Very comfortable stay, staff were friendly, rooms were modern and clearly recently updated (within ten years or so is my guess). Water pressure in the shower was awesome, but the way the shower door was installed means you had to be all the way in the shower to turn it off. Not the worst but it's never fun to get a blast on cold water on you when trying to turn on the shower. Gym was well equipped and the pool and hot tub were lovely. Its right next to Costco which was great for getting gas. Not in a bad spot, you're about 20 or so minutes from downtown. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit.

Recently we had the displeasure of staying at this hotel. We woke up in the morning to find silverfish in the bathroom and worse in the bed right where we had been sleeping. When we informed the staff they didn't seem too concerned and said it was something that was around here because of the climate. We live 3 hours away and never had silverfish or know anyone to have them. The only compensation they would give us was a free breakfast - roughly $20. They were not concerned at all. Went to the manager and then above them with no compensation except the breakfast and by this time we were back home when talking to the manager and person above. If you want to sleep with the silverfish, stay here, if not look for another hotel as there are lots in Victoria.

Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Coffee in the lobby was good (much better than what you can make in the room). The driveway is *really* hard to see from one direction (when the hotel is on your right). Better signage would be helpful.

Really nice hotel. Good staff. Helpful front desk. My only complaint which is a big one for me- all the soaps and shampoos had lavender in them. Many people are sensitive/allergic to lavender. I strongly recommend having a scent free or other alternative so people don’t have to go buy their own each time they visit. Next time we will likely try to book somewhere else so we don’t have to pack extra things every time.
